"Making" ST200 look wheels

I did a search but didn't come up with any answers, so if this has been addressed or done, I couldn't find it.

I'm digging the ST200 wheels, which are matte black stockers with machined outlines and lip. Anyone try doing this with stock wheels, either powder coating and cutting, or masking and shooting with paint or plastidip? Curious how it came out.

I thought about it also but maybe using a 1/8 inch pinstripe tape/vynil.
