So I’ve been having this noise that started off very faint and got louder as the weeks progressed. I thought one of my coilovers lock ring came loose, after checking all of them and giving them a good tug nothing. I don’t know if it’s suspension noise. I was on Reddit and someone posted the exact same noise. It doesit taking off from a stop and driving through a parking lot, will do it if the road is uneaven but when hitting larger bumps at speed I don’t hear it. Will do it in gear or neutral. When I give the front and rear struts a good shake I don’t hear anything. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I been wanting to go canyon carving but I’m kinda holding it off because I don’t want anything snapping off lol.

Does it go away when hitting the brakes?

Uncertain if it's the same- but I recently had to replace my rear brake calipers due to a metallic noise. The pistons were sticking causing the inside pads to wear. This is a pretty common problem with our cars.
In addition I would check end links and feel around the suspension if anything is loose. You mentioned coilers- could one of your top hats have come loose?

I will inspect everything further this week, and I thought that too, but when I shake the front end I get no noise. I will be changing my control arms in a few weeks and will pull the coilover to check it. I tried braking quickly when I heard the noise this morning and didn’t seem to affect it. What about motor mounts? I have a vibra rear and still on the oem’s in the front

Motor mounts would be more of a clunking noise.

Does it go away when hitting the brakes?
If it's a rotational noise from the brake pads, hosing down just one wheel then going for a quick drive might help confirm the source of the noise.

I noticed it only happens when driving slow on uneven concrete. I’m going to check my top hat this weekend.

Update, I had someone listen to the noise while outside the car, we got it down to the rear left wheel. So something might be loose. Whoever said caliper might be right, but I’ll check it out after work and keep everyone posted

So I took out the tire and bounced it on the ground with some force, heard that same noise, took the tire off and the TPMS sensor was broken and bouncing around. The top part of the sensor is metal and that was hitting the rim and making small indentations in there. Took it out and noise is gone! Thanks everyone for the input. Gonna order a new sensor and throw it in there.

Well, probably ought to install it in the valve stem hole. If you just throw it in there it will make the same noise.

Thanks, please remember to tip your server. I'll be here all week.
