There has to be more Fiesta fans on the Southwest side of the state... Who's gonna help me kill cones all summer?

-Travis
I'm in Kalamazoo. Don't see many FiSTs on this side of the state. Do you autocross? I help out with the SCCA in South Bend with theirs. I also do a few in Detroit.

I just picked mine up in January, and plan on autocrossing in the area as soon as the snow goes away.

Hello. Is the west Michigan region going to host any autocrosses this year? I did a couple in Lansing and one a Kwings stadium a few years back. It was a good group of people. I have family in South Haven, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. So i am over that way often. Also enjoyed the South Bend and NWOR SCCA region events in the recent past. Perhaps we will meet this summer! I have a 16 FIST in Kona blue.

I have absolutely no idea what the schedule is Scotman. I don't have facebook and haven't been in the autocross/car club stuff since about 2011. I'll be just as interested in looking for local events. Don't have a problem heading to South Bend or across the state, just want to log seat time this summer.

Yup. I have visited the WMR site and there has been no mention of even having an autocross schedule in quite some time. Northeast Indiana region does solo events at Majestic star casino. I am planning to do one of those next summer! Fort Wayne region does some very large solo events on a huge course. I may decide to attend one of those as well, but it would be an overnite trip.

I dug into the INR solo calender. They have tentative events set for April 10 and May 12 at Majestic star casino. I have also looked into Chattanooga tn region solo calender. They had been starting their season in late March, but like many regions they have been losing sites and are still searching for new ones from what i can gather online. It would be a hardcore person that wanted to blast down I-75 for 11. something hours just to get in some early seat time. But it is doable.

Good information, guys. I could probably attend all of the events on the South Bend calendar. We shall see... Chattanooga sounds like a lot of fun but I think if I go anywhere in late March, it will be Sebring.

Sebring is a great experience....

But you guys will find very few good spectating locations. The best one I found was at the keyhole. Then I meandered over to the Audi pit area, they had great in car video displayed on a large screen monitor. I found no other good viewing spots.

I had the opposite experience. Watching Super Trofeo roar through 3/4/5 from the hill... The GS cars launching out of T7, all the nasty GTLM cars popping and crackling into T10... I made friends with some people who had an RV on the infield and they let me go up top later on in the night during the 12 hour race to watch everybody racing through Le Mans, absolutely AMAZING. I was standing by the wall in T13 when a GTD car looped it on exit, came to rest right in front of me and bounced it off the rev-limiter all the way through the grass. It was so loud you about had to duck behind the wall to keep it from rattling your eyeballs out of socket. My buddy and I walked through the pits and talked to everybody we could. I hung out with a small team campaigning a yellow GS Camaro and helped pull plugs. They showed me the slick adjustable rear sway bar they were using and how it works, etc. My buddy walked away from the Stevenson camp IIRC with a used pair of Puma racing shoes. We drank with a few drivers from the CTSC race during the 12 hour race... One of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. Really wish I could go down there this year but I don't know if I'll have the funds to drive down there and I sure as heck don't feel like flying.

Hello! I picked up my Molten Orange Fist January of this year. Seems like a lot of us here work at Ford; I am at the PDC site.

I was looking into getting an cat back exhaust for the car, but would love to hear them in person. How many of you locals have exhausts?

I am in St. Clair Shores work in Troy, and usually spend most of my time around Clinton twp. Ferndale is not far from my work at all. I have DHM Catless downpipe, and Cobb Catback. Best sounding combo in my opinion, Anytime you want to hear it, let me know. I am always around.

Hello Folks
Picked up a nice graphite gray fiesta st in Jan. Also got a set of 16X7 SPARCO ASSETTO GARA GREEN and 195/50R-16 YOKOHAMA ICEGUARD IG52C from tire tack for the harsh 2016 winter ;)
The car is a an absolute blast to drive, cant wait for the summer. You might spot this vehicle in dearborn and royal oak.
I am considering the montune cat back exhaust, anyone in the great lakes area with one of those? Would love to hear one in person.

I did a resonator and muffler delete, but am still trying to get my *** brother to send me the video... Surprisingly quiet. It does drone under acceleration, but for day-to-day stuff most everyone who rides in my car say they wouldn't have guessed it's straight-piped. My turbo is my muffler, good'nuff. :D

Crackles and pops on the overrun like a fun car should.

Works for me. I usually get off work between 7 and 8, but I am free on the weekends usually, and after work if need be.
Would love to stop by a common place and check out your exhaust, how about Saturday early afternoon? me and Azngtboi88 will stop by. you can pick a place. we are in the royal oak/ferndale area.
