I'm actually surprised there's no brake specification thread here. I need to know minimum rotor thickness, developed the "lip" on all 4 of my rotors. Deciding to machine or replace them.
Anybody know? Thanks.

As it should always be on the edge of the rotor and it is because I looked.
Here is what the service manual says.

Front brake disc minimum thickness 0.827 in ( 21 mm)
Rear brake disc minimum thickness 0.354 in ( 9 mm)

Machining is a lesson in diminishing returns... Why not replace them? Rotors are $200.00 all-in for this car. Spend the $80.00 to machine them and get maybe another 3K-4K miles before they warp again. It's your money and your choice, but machining is never an option for me.

Thank you!

Strangely enough... I know that it's usually marked on edge of rotor, I couldn't find it is why I made this thread in the first place...
