I’m considering replacing the moonroof glass on my 2015 Fiesta ST due to a crack. I’ve found that the OEM part is compatible with models from 2011 to 2019.

Has anyone here undertaken this replacement themselves? I’ve read that the glass panel can be swapped independently, and some dealerships offer replacements for around $550.

I’m also curious if this process affects the vehicle's warranty or insurance coverage.
