Ok update. Monday I did laundry. Tuesday I finished up the plumbing, hoses, cac, ac. Buttoned up front of engine. 2hr
Wed I got the front bumper hung then started looking into other not having any power. Door lock button worked and hvac light lite up when battery connected but thats it. 3hrs then gave up.
Studied wiring diagram and came to conclusion to just keep building interior, thinking I need the roof liner installed cause it has the key in car sensor, and since it's still in pieces. Turns out yup it need that black box next to the lights connected. It senses the key fob and let's the RFA modal do it's thing. It's thing is triggering the key state relays in the CJB. Seeing the dash light yup just got me going. I've been wrenching for almost 27years now and this finally made me feel feelings again.

Awesome project. My 2 cents on the rear lights, run the newer ones from the ST. They are nicer looking imho.

Its ALIVE!!!!! Fired right up. Now to get this clutch and brakes bled out, and do a test burn out. If it wont smoke the tires, I'm taking it all back apart. New oil (it was new but drained during swap), new coolant, new transmissing shifty fluid, new brake fluid. Lights work, key fob works. rear windows dont roll down????? hmm. maybe i didnt connect doors yet cause i havnt installed seat belts yet. Need to connet abs sensors, those codes should clear. Airbag light should be my only light until I get a module. Should be able to get it buttoned up tonight. Got my Wrap ordered.

Think I have to. the SES dont light up, unless i got a fuse out.

You are incredibly productive with this thing. It’s a big job.
Thanks. Big yes, Hard no. All plug and play. But I do heavy line work every day, did a encore transmission thursday and a accent engine tuesday, hybrid sienna body wiring harness monday.

Burnt up my first half tank of fuel. Drove it over and put it on alignment rack. Right rear where it got hit is a little out. I was worried about that. But everything is still "in" spec. Ill get some of those shim plates and stand up that right side a bit more and turn both of them left to fix that thrust angle. Might throw on a b It drives good. Ride is very flat and race carish. Its pretty wild not having to slow down to turn, rights at 30mph, just whip. I think it has more responsive steering at lower speed then my iron eagle series built Mustang did. I know the Mustang will smoke it in a straight line and high speed corners but this little fiesta might make it sweet in the tight corners. Check engine light turned it self off after I got the evap hung.... so guessing that means i got everything on the engine plugged in first time. huh. AC is charged but clutch wont engage cause I lost the ambient temp sensor some how.
Even did my first mod today. Want to go Amazon on same day delivery when it counts. Really needed this shift knob and nothing universal seems to work I found out.
Probably call it a wrap on the Swap portion of the build. I have won my first race (turbo civic),and lost my first race already (twin turbo audi). Get this thing wrapped, then start slinging parts on it. Whats first? Cobb, CAI, Intercooler? Then downpipe & exhaust, then turbo tubing? Might move exhaust up in the line. Its too quiet stock. Speaking of exhaust how you like my quick sawzall job on the ses cover to clear the ST tips. didn't want to melt it to them. Ill leave the ST cover off until wrap time so i don't risk breaking the tabs off if I don't have to.

Start with AP, Intercooler and CAI/drop-in filter, exhaust, front traction bar(https://whooshmotorsports.com/colle...nce-products-traction-bar-2014-2019-fiesta-st). With a good tune you get more torque and start to really feel the open diff. It's fun but more power needs more grip. I'd say diff after basic first mods and before big/hybrid turbo.
I did a Quaife diff before I did hybrid turbo on mine. Made it go dead straight and pull out of corners instead of one wheel peel and scurry from side to side with the electronic torque control(it pumps the front brakes to control wheel spin from side to side).

Ok. finally found some time to get back to this car. Started the wrap. This is my first time attempting to wrap anything. Kinda just dove into the deep end on this. got the passanger side looking pretty dang solid from 5ft. from 2ft you can start tearing it apart..... but I covered 99.95% of the blue. Sides easy enough. now to see how bad i am at it with some curves. Did the rear driver side door to playing with it to get a feel for the material and to see how much i ahte the color. color looks pretty good. wish it was a shade darker. Rear hatch next.

6th times a charm as they say. First try wrinked mess, dropped the second sheet, third try i tore the film pulling it, 4th try was solid but a bunch of orange revieled when i cut the seams and glass out. 5th try i folded the sheet onto itself and it creased so bad it was trashed. 6th time tho..... i removed more parts to make it easier. didnt have to do a inlay this way under the hatch release/lights area. now i just need to wrap the wiper motor cover bit, its shouldnt be hard (famious last words), but im happy with attempt 6 and will be moving onward again now. Turbomacs in WHITE in the mail!!! Wanted to get those ordered before the tariffs hit everyone. Tirerack had some still for pre tariff cost. I already see so places charging an extra $80/each for them. ill need to get more vinyl as i figured i watched enough youtube to be a pro and didnt give my self enough extra to mess up 5 times in 1 area. oh well i guess. got quoted $2900 for a shop to wrap it..... that gives me 5 more rolls to mess up before im cost sunk on the DIY..... so green next year!

I love the color. Darker might be better but it looks great. This is DIY on another level.
Thanks. I agree, 1 shade darker is what I wanted. The ceramic coating will make it a bit darker, but also a bit more glossy. This is close enough I guess. not sure what the return policy is so just sent it. Lesson learned, buy the sample and be sure. I got a sample of my next color already, a slick Indigo thats a dark blue in the shade but turns into a dark deep purple in the light. When/if this fails or next summer what ever happens first ill give round 2 a shot and redo it. I kind of enjoy it, its something different to do to a car, and after 26-27 years in the industry I have played around with most material, including fiberglass molds and carbon fiber vacuum infusion of some fairings for my Gixxer.

So did the hood today. Crushed it imo. I cant see hardly any flaw, just 1 squeegee mark, where it was a bit to much pressure, in it so it would appear im starting to get this material figured out a little bit. I am now anticipating when and where winkles with show up and have a much better idea how to handle them. Working with the material before it applied solo is getting easier too. Floppy sheet of 6ftx 5ft paper isnt easy to handle at times.
