No I don't.. I hate to say this because it'll probably upset some people but I don't torque every bolt. I just make them tight. Might want to ask around
I do the same - tighten the bolts in stages, working from the center out, in a criss crossing pattern.

turbo is out, elected to remove diverter valve and leave exhaust manifold in place. no hardware carnage at all. good sockets and impacts, etc help much....aka snap on, mac, SK, Milwaukee.

.......on the way back with new unit....

Just got off the dyno a couple of hours ago, we tuned it fairly conservatively for the setup. The intercooler he is running wasn't very sufficient at all and was climbing from 90-130?F in a 80?F dynocell.

Customer Setup:
Mountune Intake
Mountune Downpipe
Mountune Intercooler
Stock Exhaust (Power Robber)

On 91oct with 0% ethanol we made a very conservative 220whp/255wtq. You can compare this fuel in northern Minnesota to what you would get in AZ, CA, NM. I have even made more power on ACN91 than the crap you get up north MN.

On E30 we made 257whp/288wtq.

Customer (boyracer) wanted the car to be smooth, a bit more power than stock, and #1 priority was safety as he travels all the way to CO with the car. Based on the other 280-290whp X37 cars I have tuned, if we were to upgrade the actuator, exhaust, and put a better intercooler on the car we could of made a conservative 280whp.

I will have dynographs posted up tomorrow, I dipped out pretty quick after as I was backed up on emails and will be back on the dyno tomorrow tuning a E85 Focus ST and E85 Ecoboost Mustang.

For anybody interested in going with this turbo, I have 10 on order, 7 that are already committed, and preparing to order another 5. ETA is about 3-4 weeks from the date of order.

Hopefully my Cobb FMIC will do a better job of cooling charge air temps, and nice work on stock exhaust!

I have them on hand, I can get you one in just a few days. Leave the car with me for a weekend whenever you are ready and I'll transform it yet again!

We won't have time unfortunately before then. I have a half week next week and most of it will be on the dyno, then heading to Michigan for vacation. Will require a new tune as well.

it is extremely smooth. accelerates in third and fourth like first and second. it is faster than my 97gt with a blower, faster than my 3valve 06 gt, as fast as my 84gt with heads, cam intake, carb and nos. bob......

I've never had a car this fast before, and it sounds like I am going to have to up my driving game to handle this...lol
