Mystery airbox hose connection

I was doing an oil change on my '16 FiST today, and happened to see this hose connection, with nothing connected. Does anybody know what this is for? Sorry, this was the best pic I could find online, lol.

It's a remnant from the N/A Fiesta. It appears to be emissions related as there is a vacuum line from there to the crankcase. For the ST, there's no actual hole there.
