Hey everyone, I just bought a wrecked 2016 fiesta st with 29k mile sight unseen from copart auto auctions, I was super happy with the limited amount of body damage, and the overall condition of the car until I started loading it up and realized that someone had taken taken some much needed parts off of it, including the entire exhaust from the turbo back, the inner-cooler and in air intake (they tried to get the turbo too but it looks like they couldn't figure out how to get it out with the axleshaft in place)... lol.
Serves me right I guess and honestly I am still in it for a reasonable price I think. I tried to get copart to refund my money but their rules do cover them for that situation which is fair enough I wasn't too upset.
So now the task is to figure out what all I am missing and what the best way to replace it is.
I am not new to working on cars, I am into hardcore rockcrawling, and buy fix and sell wrecked cars some while I go to college. But I am new to Fiesta STs and sporty turbo FWD cars in general. I will definitely need to do some learning on all this stuff, and I will have plenty of questions if you all are up to it.
This car did/does have a few mods, that is probably why the PO whoever decided to nab the parts back off, but I would be happy if i could just get stock parts to get me on the road cheap for now.
Also if anyone recognizes the car I would love to get up with PO and buy the parts back, he lived in Charlotte NC and the car was wrecked sometime around august.
