Hello. Just picked up my Tuxedo Black 2014 Fiesta ST yesterday evening!! A little background....I had a 96 Acura Integra back in the day...did the whole JDM cat back exhaust, header, short shifter and all that fun stuff with a bunch of other guys. After running that to the ground, I had to go to a used 2006 Hyundai Elantra due to financial issues. But...now I'm here with my first Ford after once swearing to only drive imports....the ramblins' of a young Filipino. Now I'm older....Now i'm driving a Ford and I'm pretty stoked.

Question...any suggestions on any procedures or "rituals" during the first 100 or so miles? Any break-in suggestions?

Thanks everyone

Welcome to the board! Enjoy your FiST man, lots of really good discussions all over the place on initial break in procedures, but I like to take it easy for the first 1000 miles, then have fun!

Welcome aboard! As airjor13 mentioned just take it easy for the first 1000 miles and do an early oil change.

If it's any consolation you are driving what is in all intents and purposes a European import... at least something originally only available to the European market. I'm also a new Tuxedo Black owner. I've owned just 3 Fords before, 2 junkers that I drove for less than 2-3 months apiece and 1 classic 1968 Mustang which met its end in a snowstorm. Other than rentals this is the first Ford I've driven in over 25 years - very pleased so far.
