I purchased a Shadow Black 2017 Fiesta ST1 a few days ago. After cross shopping many many vehicles, I decided the FiST was the best choice for performance, fun to drive, equipment, and price. It was really close between it and the Focus ST, but the SYNC 3 and all the toys the base FiST gets decided it for me.
This purchase mainly came about from a desire to be more practical, and reduce the amount of money I was spending on my car a bit - I traded in a 2016 Camaro SS. It's certainly an adjustment in power, but I actually think I enjoy driving the FiST more than the Camaro since you can actually use most of its power.
