More than medium-high mileage options. My 2015 with 120k miles was 7k, and I probably could have negotiated down the price a bit too.
Well, then this ain’t for you (and that’s fine). Quality engine parts/products—let alone built motors—aren’t cheap, especially in today’s day and age. Prob won’t ever get cheaper either.
Regardless, cost is a relative thing for each individual. Someone in the market for a built motor prob isn’t too concerned about cost. And perhaps more importantly, we are a small and niche community with an 11-yr old platform. Any continued development should be celebrated and, by extension, anyone continuing to heavily mod these cars should be encouraged, as it keeps the community and aftermarket alive.
