Hello, I just got a new 16 Fiesta ST - will be picking it up next weekend hoping Friday. It took almost a month to get the car from factory so I was told. Can't wait to try it out - never been in a Fiesta or an ST ever, let alone drove one - last car was 2005 Saleen S121 Focus had to sell.

Thanks. Glad you guys are around - happy to be part of the ST community and looking forward to learn more about the car and fellow enthusiasts. I took a couple photos at the dealer today so I can place it in the registry. The photos does not show all the upgrades yet - just stock. Dealer will be ordering and doing installs - figured get some of the work done upfront and the first round of upgrade should be good for a little while - will give me time to save for the next round. I will be using Mountune stuff because of warranty issues and they are Ford Performance approved. The car will be my daily driver, my commute is not too bad at about 20 miles roundtrip plus occasional lunch trips. I can't wait to really get into this car. Thanks again.

Be careful about modding a daily driver. When something goes wrong as a result of the modding, that'll undoubtedly happen when you need to be in it.

Haven't yet followed-up on it, but this was a good heads-up for me...

...as it appears the factory installed an incorrectly spec-ed fan relay for a portion of the late 2015 to early 2016 buyers.

Turning off hill assist via the menu-system (and using the hand-brake when needed) will help you learn the friction point on the clutch faster.

Thanks. Yeah I'm going to take it slow with the mods try to enjoy it until I get the urge. I will inquire about that relay - I have to ask them about the parts I ordered anyways.
I should have the car by this weekend - I have not driven since I sold my other car been using my wife's Sonata - not same.
