No boost, GFB DV VTA stuck open?

Is it possible for the GFB DV VTA to get stuck open? I don't have a boost leak anywhere else, didn't blow a pipe/coupler off. Is there another DV that is more reliable? Running a hybrid turbo on about 20 psi.

id check the voltage. or maybe the stock solenoid part you put on the gfb kit is shot?

nah what i said doesnt make sense.. there would have to be constant voltage going to it to hold it open. though, when does your boost "fall off" the spring could be to weak allowing a slight boost leak when tippin in harder.

Pretty sure it's a blown turbo.
