Just had my timing belt and water pump replaced. I am noticing that under heavy acceleration a lot more intake noise than I remember - almost sounds like the AC running. Video attached - is this normal or am I imagining things? I do not hear the noise while revving it in neutral.

also, noticed in the engine bay a broken stud along with a black bracket - what exactly is that?

Had mine done at 107,000 by the dealer and runs as good as new, perhaps with even better power now. Did you get it done at the dealership?

That’s awesome! i didn’t use a dealer - I used a reputable independent shop. Would take it back to them to check out but they live pretty far from me. Trying to see if I can figure it out myself.

What is the condition of the symposer?

That is an A/C line bracket. You don’t want that flopping around.

I would take it back and tell them to get it done properly otherwise you may more serious problems later. Was their work warranted?
