Hi guys, Recently bought a St3 with 7k on the clock 2017..
I've recently noticed a weird noise similar to a fan hitting a wire when accelerating, its never on 1st or 2nd gear,
its always from 3rd and onwards, around 3k rpm roughly, I'm thinking its boost leak? as the overboost kicks in at 3rd gear.
Ford mechanic wasn't really much help, when i took one for a drive. it was hard to get the noise going due to the road noise, but as soon as he heard it, he says "probably a characteristic for the car"
can anyone shed some light? Hoping its just the symposer which im deleting very soon..
