Has anyone found a exhaust system hanger isolator in between the whoosh (at 69A durometer), and the now non-existent factory ones (I am going to guess a ~40A durometer [dunno]).

Or are the whoosh ones the absolute lowest durometer one is ever going to find in an aftermarket, polyurethane hanger isolator?

Are any of the fleabay/amazon EPDM ones worth a damn, or even close to the factory ones in longevity/quality??

The Cobbs I took off of the car many years ago are now like pieces of heat treated steel (I am going to guess >110A durometer) as compared to the whoosh ones currently on the car.

Are they specialty shaped or something? I’d guess there are a hundred cars that come with something rubber that would fit. Just got to find the right length right?

I just looked at the whoosh site. They look pretty run of the mill. Subaru ones probably fit just fine. All you need is the right length.

Are there issues with the firmness of the whoosh ones? Wondering as I might be ordering a catback soon and was going to purchase whoosh hangers with it.

I had the Whoosh ones on my stock exhaust, and they exacerbated the vibrations from 3.5 to 5k in a really unpleasant way in the cabin. As soon as I switched back to the OEM hangers (BE8Z-5A262-A), the difference was immediate.

I would suggest trying the OEM ones before, see if the exhaust movement is too big, then maybe switch one of the four to poly, instead of all four.

Go down to your FLAPS or even AMAZON. Exhaust hangars aren't some kind of thing that need a "performance" option. Replace them every few years, They're still rubber and exposed to the harsh life of being under the car exposed to road spray and heat from the exhaust system, they will eventually fail. They're cheap anyway.

Yeah, I might just try the EPDM ones on amazon, they are cheap enough even if they are a fail.
