Oil Filter USCAR-36 Non-OEM Filter Solution?

I know this question has been discussed a million times, but there seem to be no non-Motorcraft filters which meet the SAE USCAR-36 standard. Some filters reference the standard, but none seem to meet it. If you look up most filters, they don't meet any standard. It seems kind of ridiculous that the warranty is dependent upon a standard that even better quality filters have not been certified to "meet".

What's the way around this?

Best way around is to just order the motorcraft fl400s filter ( originally for the mk1 focus, but it fits and is a bit bigger) and then use 5 qts of oil insead of the 4.6 or whatever the factory spec is.
