Possible Transmission Seal Leak

Hey all. I was looking under my Fist doing a look over and I noticed the bottom of the transmission was blackened. It was only dark near the seal of the drivers side axle. It also appeared to have some goldish color oil right below the seal. I am thinking that the seal may be leaking but I wanted to get yall's opinion.
