I haven't seen other cars with these yet. There was a program to get the old yellow, black, as well as blue plates available for special order, but only the black ones met the requisite number of preorders. I ordered these up 3 weeks ago and they just came in! I'm glad California finally got something cool in terms of license plates. I think we generally have the lamest selection in the Union.

I have an odd fascination with license plates (as well as flags, cars, etc.). I would have to agree that Missouri is down there with California in terms of plate design, lol..

Unfortunately, it's just a throwback to the old 1960's plates so the only color option is black and yellow.
