Have you guys ever considered making this yellow clip and handle in different colors? I would love to have them in red or something other then yellow, they are an eye sore in my opinion.

Thought about painting them, but replacement plastic pieces would be better. I'm afraid the paint will chip with use.

I've got some John deere flat black. I'm sure you could use if I still have some left over after I try painting my crash bar. Lol. By the way if your going to look it up its John deere blitz black.

Totally doable and within our production capability. Might be some time before we look into actually making them. Need to price them and see some demand etc..

I was just thinking this the other day! Boomba makes different color hood latches for the Focus ST, but the the Fiesta ST =(

I'm glad to see more interest, its my biggest pet peeve on the car, pop the hood and the yellow just stands out way too much. I would be down with red or black.

Get the plastic paint spray can at the hardware store in the color you want. Follow preparation directions and you're done.
