Question about launch control

Just bought the stratified flash tune and I couldn't be happier with the improvements over the Cobb stage 1 tune. However I hit launch control on accident with the clutch in and the car in gear and I noticed that I no longer have to hold down the cruise control button to activate the launch control. Is this a stratified feature? Or is this because I just updated the firmware on my Cobb AP? Or is there something wrong?

The fuel cut launch control is automatic. The throttle control is activated by the cruise switch.

I've yet to use launch control...nervous about it and I'm getting a Stratified tune so hoping I can find someone near me(Pomona, Calif) to show me how to use it. Maybe I'll figure it out on my own.
