Question about transmission

Hello, have just been stripping the transmission down to replace the damaged radiator support and I noticed this. Is it supposed to be connected to something? Thank you! 92c42b29-dfc4-4a74-8246-2c35ce0cb89b.jpeg

The top line is the pressure line for your slave cylinder, the bottom is the bleeder for bleeding the slave cylinder. The only thing that appears to be missing is the cap on the bleeder that keeps dirt/gunk from getting in there.
