Questions about using the COBB AP Ign. Correction Max PID

I have been using the PID Ign. Correction Max. Never have seen it go into the negative but im maxing out around 11-12 (insert value here). Can anyone explain this in further detail for me? I have tried googling it and it just brings up data about using the individual monitors. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks for taking your time.
