Screen went black

I was driving down the road going to work and as I was driving my Sync 3 screen I noticed it slowly kept getting darker and darker until it eventually turned all the way off and I couldn't get it to come back on. I would tap the screen and the beeps would make the beep noise but the screen was still black. When I got to my destination I turned off the car and opened the door so it would shut off everything and I turned the car back on and it seemed to work properly. Maybe this is a glitch with Sync 3?

Yeah true. Has it done it after that one time? Or did he go have it looked at?

Was it extremely cold or hot? LCD's can exhibit some wonky behavior at temp extremes.

My Sync acted up in my car once when it was about 115 degrees outside with no sun shade in the windshield, shortly after that (3-4 months) it failed 100% and had to be replaced by Ford, two days ago my replacement unit that is about a year old acted up with it being around 40 degrees outside. Radio stuck on even with the car off, had to pull the fuse to turn it off and reset the system. It works fine... for now.
