I've seen stuff like that in my oil and got concerned, albeit not as many shavings. I'm not particularly nice to my motor between autocross and backroads lol. But after sending a sample to Blackstone they said I was good. They said:
"If you look at the universal averages in the right column, you will see typical wear levels for this engine type after about 6,000 miles on the oil. Next, look at what we found in this sample from your Fiesta after a 6,000-mile oil run. Aluminum through tin match up exactly, which tells us this engine is wearing just as expected, with no signs of any mechanical issues looming under the hood. In addition, the viscosity is right on target for a 5W/20, there is no measurable fuel to make note of, and low insolubles points to effective oil filtration. Great first report, and great engine!"
All in all, if you're concerned you can send an oil analysis to Blackstone for peace of mind. I think they send the container to you for free? But it looks like shavings from the filter.
