Yo yo!

Been Creepin' and Peepin' these forums for the last few months. I was getting sick of my DD (and its sketchy reliability) so I really wanted to get back into something under warranty, that was fun and economic.

Enter the FiST.

I've had a STi for 3 years now, love that car, its my baby, but was mostly my toy. It was heavily modded and really only driven once or twice a week. At the moment, it is getting it's engine rebuilt in So-Cal. Subaru Problems. [mad]

I have 2 buddies that have gotten the ST in the last 6 months or so. I fell in love with that car the first time I rode shotgun. It was just as, if not more, fun than my STi. THE HANDLING!!!! OHHHHHH THE HANDLING OF THIS CAR!!!

So with my DD (98 Volvo V70) quickly loosing any reliability, I went to hunt for a FiST as my DD.

I ended up getting a Performance Blue 2015 with Recaros and Painted Wheels from Perry Ford in San Luis Obispo.

I also started stacking some light mods. At the moment I have:
AccessPort waiting in my glove [raceflag]
Perrin Shorty
Cobb Black and Red Knob
Cobb RMM
Cover Craft Sun shade (Cali life)
No-pistons dead pedal

The PLAN is to not mod this thing too much.....but we all know how that goes. Right now I'm thinking a Cobb CAI and possible a short shift kit, as the throw is a little long for me liking.

So far I love this car, the handling is....sublime. Amenities are more than I need in a DD and also much better than the subie.

Just took delivery:

First Mod on the dealer lot:

First Glamor Shots:

Second Mod:

This afternoon I'm going to install the Dead Pedal. I did some rubber inserts and put in a underlay on the ST:

Looking forward to many years with this car!

Welcome. Great color choice. I spent my college years in SLO. Brings back memories of tipping cars, sudzing the fountain, and lots of partying.

Welcome! Glad to see more FiST's in the SLO area. We might actually have to start a Central Coast meet! Get some yellow fog overlays (makes the car look fresh and helps for those foggy mornings, at least here in Los Osos we get em sometimes)
