I've cycled through all the different displays and I've never seen the instant MPG. I have odometer, trip, miles till empty, avg. mpg, and avg. mph. Is there a way to show instant mpg when the avg mpg is being displayed maybe?? If not I don't care too much, would just be interesting to read while in higher rpm's.
I read somewhere that it was added for 2016, so I guess 2014 and 2015s don't have the instant MPG.

I guess you could say that the market is small for us. However, the current offerings that we have are phenomenal. The only bits you can't yet upgrade are the DI injectors, HPFP, and drivetrain...and that won't be much longer. Well, DI injectors will be a while. Stage 2 packages are available at either Cobb or DHM. I've bought the majority of my parts from DHM.

That is true. All the parts that i HAVE seen are generally made by a reputable company, high quality, and CHEAP. Found some amazing side skirts (cant remember brand right now) for only 250! Not replicas! My Replica side skirts for my BRZ were almost 200. If i wanted original i'd be paying almost 500.

If you think the prices are inexpensive, you might want to have someone hide your wallet when you go to the DHM website.

And I disagree and that's perfectly okay. In my opinion by not being able to drive the car at ten/tenths in a safe setting you are giving up the single biggest advantage over the competition being the excellent driving dynamics at the limits. Cars like the new FA20 WRX and Mk7 GTI are 95% just as fun on the street as the FiST, with significantly better daily driving manors (less so for the WRX, but still better). On track is a completely different story imo.
Well, fun is subjective. Some people don't need to push the car to the limits for a sustained period to appreciate it. Driving the WRX All we need is spurts and it's potential. Keep in mind those who race don't usually race it stock. The stock brakes (for example) though capable, can not handle sustained track braking without overheating.

If you ride motorcycles (particularly sport bikes), you'd know that most riders don't use their bikes to their full potential. Only the top racers would be capable of doing so. Yet still people appreciate their bikes and enjoy them just the same...

Absolutely, that's why it's down to the person. What gives me the "fizz" now is way over what anyone can do on the streets legally and safely. There used to be a time where short spurts of moderate speed would do it for me, but as time goes on your limits increase to a point way higher than what you can do on the street.

1. For you who DD how is it? For me, the ST is one of the best cars I have ever driven and surely the best I have ever owned. For all around performance, drivability, fun, comfort, and looks, the Fiesta ST is my perfect car. I have owned Focuses (new) since 2000 and then a Fiesta (non-ST) from 2010-2014. None have been as much fun as the ST.
2. How comfy is it? My BRZ is stiff as hell so thats my comparison. I find the ST to be very comfortable and not stiff. I have the Mountune springs that are 5% stiffer than stock and find the ride to be great. Of course, my other car has springs that are over 4x stiffer than stock and I think that is ok too.
3. Whats your real life MPG? 31 is my current average with 70% highway/30%city and very spirited on-ramps and some hooning. My ST is also tuned, so it isn't stock.
4. Any issues with the turbo? None that I have had.
5. How similar to the SE does the ST drive (in terms of ease, i understand this has almost double the power) I had a Fiesta SES prior to the ST. The difference is night and day. The SES always felt underpowered, had terrible gear ratios in the transmission, suspension was too soft for me, seats were average, brakes were average, and the car never really performed how I wanted to no matter how much money I threw at it. I was in Brazil and had a chance to drive a prototype between filming a commercial and it took about 30 seconds for me to realize that the ST is exactly what I wanted in a small car. The sounds, acceleration, gear ratios, steering, suspension, looks, seats, and brakes were all what I wanted out of my 2011, but could never achieve. I got out of the car and couldn't wait to get one of my own. The first ST I drove in Brazil is a twin to the one I have now. It would have taken massive amounts of money to get the SES to come close to what the ST does out of the box.
6. Is this a car you see owning for a long time? Yes! I plan on keeping mine for as long as I can keep it looking good from Michigan winters. Financially, I am in a spot where the Focus RS is achievable, but I just can't imagine getting rid of my ST for a car that is much larger, heavier, and more expensive. The RS needs an open track to fully enjoy, where the ST has a lower performance level and you can enjoy it on the street everyday.

Congratulations the St is a sweet car.

1. Amazingly fun to drive everyday i find myself taking the scenic way home
2. I have the Recaro seats and i find them very comfortable and positions me exactly were i want to be
3. I average any were from 30-35 MPG i have seen 40 a few times and dips below 30 when i really hammer on it
4. No issues
5.never drove an SE but the ST is super easy to drive point it were you want to go and it takes you there with a smile on your face[driving]
6. I plan to keep it as long as i can
Exactly what this guy said.

1. For you who DD how is it? Awesome. I feel like I am driving a go-kart every time I get in it.
2. How comfy is it? My BRZ is stiff as hell so thats my comparison. It is stiff. But I like that feeling, so I don't mind at all. Its not stiff enough to where it is uncomfortable.
3. Whats your real life MPG? 28-31 MPG mixed
4. Any issues with the turbo? None
5. How similar to the SE does the ST drive (in terms of ease, i understand this has almost double the power) No idea, but I would never buy the SE
6. Is this a car you see owning for a long time? Yes, and I have a tendency to switch a lot. I really have no complaints about the car.

Overall, it might be the most fun to drive of any car that I have owned. I have had m3's, and a 996 turbo in the past, so that is saying something for a little Fiesta!
