Forum wisdom says front right speaker wires are white/orange and white/violet. Those don't exist. On my '16, the available speaker wires right at the speaker plug are:

- TWO yellow/orange
- brown/orange
- yellow/brown

Now what?? I don't want to use the rears.

The artificial light can throw the colors off a bit. This delayed troubleshooting my wiper issue quite a bit.

But Yellow/Orange and Violet/Orange are the right colors for the high-mount.

I had tapped the rear speakers for my sub. I use the front/rear fade as a secondary means of controlling volume to the amp.

Thanks @Intuit. I already had the car apart so got impatient & ended up using a multimeter to map it all out. Even discovered two of the speakers I had installed awhile back were out of phase. That's why it sounded like shit lol.

I tapped the front only because of the rears sounding so much weaker than the fronts. Guess which speakers were out of phase lol

Either way it's all wired up and sounds pretty good. Thx again!
