Hi Guys, not long bought a Fiesta ST and having trouble with losing the speedo while driving. Doesn't seem to be any particular pattern to it. Has anyone else experienced this issue and what has it been?

Any info appreciated,
Cheers, Stevie.

Is your speedo just dropping down to 0mph while you are driving? or is it glitching out and showing various speeds?

Just dropping to zero. Mileage doesn’t go up either when this happens and lose the outside air temp.

Adding that seemingly spurious last bit of information points to the likely problem. Something is unplugged or making partial connection or has an intermittently shorting wire. An electrical issue like that in the wiring to the dash display.

Seems you may be right, I have since removed and checked all fuses relating to the cluster and tested them. All were good and I’ve made sure they were fully housed when putting them back. Clocks haven’t cut out again since.
