I know, another spring thread[headslap]

I am not looking for a significant drop, just a little less wheel gap and better ride. Seems that Eibach's are the ones to go with? Am I missing others? Are the Ford Racing springs compatible?

I believe the ford racing ones are the Mountune's, if not there is also Mountune.

I'm going with the Mountunes because they are said to work best with the stock shocks.

I can attest to the awesomeness that is mountune's sport springs. I love them. 1.1 in drop up front / 0.8 in drop in back

edit: was inebriated while typing this earlier, specs were reversed (now corrected lol)

Is that because Mountune states this in their write-up? ;)

The reason why I'm giving you a hard time is because Mountune, Cobb's Sport Springs, and Eibach Prokits are "all" manufactured by Eibach and designed to work well with OEM shocks and struts....

You really can't go wrong with whomever you chose to purchase springs through...

I've heard that from a couple people.

I guess that makes it true then... ;)

Like I said earlier Mountune, Cobb's Sport Springs, and Eibach Prokits are "all" manufactured by Eibach and designed to work well with OEM shocks and struts....

You really can't go wrong with whomever you chose to purchase springs through (i.e. Mountune, Eibach or Cobb)...

I guess it comes down to what drop you want. And color. Ha.

What's the cobb advertised drop? I think it's different than mountunes and eibach, if I recall.

Cobb / Eibach: 0.8" Drop Front and 0.7" Rear

Mountune: 1.1" Drop Front and 0.8" Rear
Weird thing is, if you look @ rallysportdirect's site, in the reviews, people measured 1.1"/0.8" for the eibachs too :p

No surprising...There will always be some variation from the original spec to actual measured results from others that have installed them....Eibach, Cobb , Mountune all state a nominal drop to be expected which will vary somewhat....And relatively speaking they are all very close to one another as far as spec'd drops go....

I saw very close to spec with mine installed....

If it's that big of an inconvenience then don't click on it. Just as easy for you to move right along. Most information I was searching was archived, and I also wanted to know if I was missing other brands.
