St3 recaro swap seats, how to get rid of some back rest movement?

I have st3 recaro swaps and they are good but the driver seat has started to move abo half an inch forward and back on acceleration and stops. Tried tightening the 2 torx bolts on the driver side. No change, anyone know if this is the right path? Is it the 2 torx bolts on each side that would need tightening? Anything else possible?

Thanks

I’ve read about seats moving around side to side but it’s like the bolts are loose at the hinges and the backrest moves 1/2 inch each time I start and stop,m

Shooting possible blanks here lol, but the recliner mechanism is internal to the backrest frame. If the seats you got were from a wrecked car, it may be possible the recliner teeth got damaged causing excessive play or just shit luck with parts. Either way, the only thing you could do is replace the backrest/frame as it's only sold as an assembly and not worth disassembling a used seat for just the mechanism.

There's also two more torx bolts on the inside/right side of the seat in the same location, worth a shot to try and german torque them.

Took the seats out and tightened all 4 torx bolts but the play is definitely in the backrest, the base doesn’t move, so maybe it’s the internal parts but all I see is the rod going through and I dug in to the foam a bit but can’t see what’s got some play. May take it to a recaro certified place if it’s annoying me enough
