I’d rather clamp the shit out of it on top and keep the seal

One some airboxes though, overtorquing them deforms them for a worse seal. Plastic is annoying :|

All else fails I’ll wrap the top and bottom with duct tape to seal it.

Thats why i want a mountune lower again. ( if i could get all the mountune pieces.... )

Yea and with it essentially being a wood screw and no real threads I've been careful to not over tighten them but still caused an issue.

I had a screw strip out a hole in mine. Idk why ford didnt use sone sort of clips instead.

Happened to me as well.

I figured that I will 'fix' it by buying an ST 200 box from Ron.

St200 box is basically an upgraded mountune box. Also comes with the lid, snorkel, paper filter, and a new sensor.
