I have the them on my car right now, in 215/40/17. It's a good tire, but will obviously not have the same level of grip the stock tires do. They are not bad by any means, and they handle pretty well, but if you're expecting awesome performance, you'll be dissapointed. That being said, if you're not looking for extreme grip, and want a tire that wears well, gives a good ride and is quiet, then its a good choice.
I have also run the HTR A/S PO1s, and I like them also. I had them in 215/45/17 on my old SVTF. Also a very good tire for the money.
Tread wear ratings are mostly BS, but they do give you some idea what to expect from the tire. 1XX= grippy 3XX= good tread wear. Lastly, any tire that is not a "winter" tire will suck really bad below 40 degrees.
