I use the garageline pedal spacer. It not only raises the pedal but it moves it closer to the brake. .. and that spacing is adjustable. ..

Quit fooling around with plastic.

I just bought this (in grey). I have a 2023 MK8.5 for about 2 weeks now and I feel the brake pedal feel is the only dynamic flaw in the car. Like @XR650R mentioned it has a lot of bite right at the top, not progressive at all. I heel'n'toe all the time, big part of driving a manual for me, and this is the first performance car where this is a bit difficult,mainly because of the brakes being over-servoed.

I hope this will help matters as the accelerator pedal is also a bit to far form the brake.
