Just a heads up. I bought that TPMS training tool off Amazon. Followed a good YouTube video as far as the procedure to put the car into training mode, I'll link below.

Anyhow, I bought the tool like 4 years ago and never used it till now. Battery was dead and while not really designed to be changed, it's fairly easy to do if your battery is dead and you don't get the red light when you push the button.

Pull the plastic housing apart, you'll find a board wired to a 2032 battery. Cut of the plastic film. I used pliers to peel each wire and it's pad off the bottom and top of the battery. Took a new 2032 battery put the red wire onto the + side and the black onto the opposite side. Wrapped it tight in some black electric tape, (shrink wrap could work too).

Worked like a charm and trained up my 2nd set of wheels.

Interesting. I got one for th Fiesta because I have 200tw tires on one set of wheel but still haven't used it yet.

I got one for my VW Rabbit as well and couldn't ever get it to work even with VCDS to dive into the computer and wound up just disabling the system. I've been meaning to go back in and turn it back on into "wheelspeed" mode where it'll guess you're low based on tire/wheel speed compared across all 4 tires.
