I am having my tranmission fluid changed with 2L of Ravneol.

The mechanic called and said that it seems like I did not give him enough fluid since the fluid is not level with the fill hole. I am scratching my head here - 2 Liters seems to be the amount everyone uses. Can anyone advise?

2 quarts should be all you need. 2 quarts of syncroshift is what I used when I changed my fluid.

Thank you everyone! I have read time and time again that 2L is the way to go, so when he called me saying it wasnt enough, I really began to think I was going nuts. Thanks again.

Are you having this done at a dealer, or a private garage/tuner??

If the latter, where is the shop (I need to find a decent place in my current area {Princeton/Montgomery} since I am forbidden to even wash my car in my current residence)?

This was done at Street Stinger Auto in Egg Harbor Township. It’s a private garage. The owner is a nice guy to work with.

THANKS!
A bit far for me, but if they have worked on these cars at all in the past (especially brakes/brake and clutch system full flushes) I would make the trip. [thumb]
