Wouldn't it be nice to get all the ST owners worldwide to complain to Ford to have them provide an update? But I guess that goes without saying. Damn it I said it too late

I wish you didn't need a windows laptop for forscan... Or is there a way to do it with Chromebooks or phones?

I do believe Windows is required. If you're a Mac guy, maybe you could run a Windows virtual machine under VMware or Parallels.

Windows is required to change values with forscan. You can only view with mac setup.

Great information. Thanks! I'll install Forscan, get a cable, and start my adventure by defeating the awful sound processing.
Nice, keep in mind even those blue $10 BT modules work well, as long as your laptop has Bluetooth... There are some good threads on using Forscan, I haven't used mine for a while, but I changed my bootscreen from Ford to ST as well.

2019 comes up as ST by default. Yay! I still need to do the audio change.
