So I searched a bit about the little 1.6 EcoBoost in our FiSTs and I found that this engine has been used (same turbo, same specs) in the Volvo V40 T4, V70 and even the S80... Anyone has more info about this? 1.6T seems a bit small for a car big as a S80 no??

The S80 is still 250kg heavier than the escape

I thought the Escape was the 2.0?

NVM, just looked it up. Didn't realize it uses the 1.6 and the 2.0 EcoBoost engines.

You're right. The 1.6 Ecoboost had been used in some Volvo's. The 148hp version in 2010 Volvo S60 and V60 and 2012 in Volvo V40.
The 182hp version in 2010 Volvo S60 and V60, 2011 in Volvo V70 and S80 and in 2012 in Volvo V40.

Yupp. It was also in the Fusion and the Escape for the lower level trims. I think Ford is using the new 1.5 now though.
