What is needed to get to the 200-210whp mark?

Can just a custom tune get you to 200-210whp safely on stock turbo or is a catback, intake, and intercooler necessary? Different people say different things about the effectiveness of different mods so I'm just curious.

And I only have 93 fuel.

An E30 custom tune should get you there.

I pulled 200whp 275wtq on intake, intercooler, custom Tune+ 93oct tune. Still have to get to the dyno since i've put the exhaust, waste gate actuator, and E30. One of these days.

Really a tune should be all you need, but drop-in filter and FMIC will make it a bit easier. I wouldn't worry about a full intake or catback exhaust unless you want extra noise, but an E85 (E30 mixed) tune should make your numbers stock or get you pretty close.

So a catback doesn't do anything? The one I want is Borla 140525.

Power gains are negligible for the money. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of my FSWerks Sport but it doesn't add any power. Downpipe is also useless on stock turbo.

For less than $1000 you could make your goals with:

- Cobb Accessport ($450 or less)
- Custom tune ($50 to $250+)
- MTC front mount intercooler ($325)
- Drop-in air filter ($40)

Total: $865

Yeah that's what I am gonna do. I was just wondering if the exhaust did anything. I'm still getting the exhaust but I think I will get my power first and get sound later. I already am running on a 93 octane flash tune from stratified... I think with full bolt ons and tune it will be a perfect balance of power and handling.

If I'm running a flash tune from stratified for a stock car, can I put on my intercooler and drop in filter and stay on the same tune or will it mess it up? I'm not expecting power gains staying with the same tune but I just don't want to hurt the car. I am thinking about just buying the IC and filter, and staying on the flash tune I have right now until I get my catback and then get an etune.

You can have them revise it later when you add modifications for an extra $25, so I'd say just do that.

And good choice on the Stratified, you will love the difference between their OTS tune and stock.

Stratified told me no retune was needed when adding the fmic on e30 tune. I'd think 91/93 could probably have timing advanced more.
