Yes anything exhaust related is strictly for sound on these cars with stock turbos, there is even an argument to be made that an aftermarket dp loses power on the stock turbo

I gained 5 hp and 5 tq roughly with a 2.5" catback installed, but very minor.

^^^That's within every dyno's variance, even the virtual ones, but, still, at least it did not show a loss. [wink]

NO down pipe, correct?

Everyone above is in agreement and right on the money (how could this be :) )? Custom tune by far the best bang for the buck. And even though I didn't buy my Cobb exhaust for the gains, I love it everyday I drive the car for the sound and looks. So for me this was a worthwhile mod.

I've had many an aftermarket exhaust on my cars over the years (Corsa being my all time favorite) and a good sounding exhaust is worth some hp to me, even if its in my mind :). Makes my drives more enjoyable.

I'm in FULL agreement with the above! [thumb]

Yes, I WISH that Corsa made systems for these cars like they do for all of the domestic nameplated; sports, muscle, and ponycars. :(
