Fun toy daily driver mix. I have an insane toy that is not really safe to drive as a DD. this will get the I/E, coils, all the bolt-ons, DD friendly stuff. it's my "i can drive to Cali now" car. My Ford. My good car. the other is just nuts, and While I could DD it, I'd rather not with the power level and stock brakes.

A little of history about me, I am a small car guy, don't really like trucks, SUVs, or big engine cars... with that said, we use an Expedition for family travel, wife has an Escape for DD, I was very happy with my 75 VW bug until my (son) came back from the Navy, enrolled in college, and took over my bug...I don't mind that, but I needed a small car for DD, so as a previous Ford Focus owner I test drove one for the weekend and liked it, it was a grey titanium trim... when I went back to the dealer to negotiate the sales price I ended up negotiating the my Fiesta ST. Four doors is a must for me since my little one has a medical condition that requires daily therapy sessions and the constant in and out of the back seat is a lot easier on four doors... needless to say, I don't miss my VW Bug much, I can still drive it since my son lives at home, but I am REALLY-SUPER HAPPY with this little ST. I had in the past thought about a FoST but I think I ended up with a better car for my current needs.

DD and Toy
Cheers!

This is going to be my Autocross/track toy. Although I am seriously thinking about dropping the insurance on my DD during the summer and just using this instead for a few months. It gets better gas mileage, and really it has everything needed to be a decent DD.

Cold weather daily driver. If its above 40F. and no precipitation, I'll be riding my Honda motorcycles. Either the 125cc scooter, or the 700X. Depending on my mood, and where I plan on going.

I AM HAPPY the car came with Summer tires. As I will be going to a dedicated Winter Tire. I'm still trying to figure out the correct Winter Tire 16'' size to use.

Muscle car surpriser...yep, did that this last weekend. I went cruising with my old Mustang club. At first the snickered...then when it was all over they couldn't believe it was so quick and that the stockish fox bodies and new edgers couldn't keep up getting on the on ramps, lol. Nothin illegal, btw.

It'll be my daily driver. Don't want to put a lot of miles on my B8 S4. Just bought this weekend. So far so good :)

Me too-lol! I was actually contemplating selling my bike as I seem to be out in the ST a lot more and our bike season here is pretty short :p
I'm having the same problem, Just got the FiST and haven't touched my Triumph since. It's just sitting pretty in the garage.....I contemplated selling it but in the end I think I would regret it so I'm just hanging on to it.

The FiST is so so much fun to drive, I find myself going out on short unnecessary trips where in the past I would just go without that extra ingredient for dinner, now i jump up and gladly drive to the supermarket. i can't say it enough, this car is a blast to drive.

Daily Driver, I really prefer this type of pocket rocket for daily use. It just beats the 9-2x hands down.

90% daily driver and 10% autocross. I have a Mustang that is prepped for autocross and I use that in the summer, but will use the ST for events early or late in the season when it is too cold or wet for my Mustang. I am hoping to run some TSD rallies in my ST, but lack the courage to try any rallycross events.

I bought the car with the intent of not modding it and using it as my daily driver. While my S52'd E30 is a hell of a lot more fun, the Fiesta strikes a better balance between fun and comfortable, plus it gets far better gas mileage, so I'm starting to get the mod itch...

The grocery getter.

I live out of town, own a V8 work truck (Tundra) along with a money pit ('01 4Runner) and so the Fiesta is great for parts runs or, you know, groceries.

The GF, 2 dogs and whatever I need fits. Great little unit and couldn't be happier. I just need to get it back from Carstars.... yay for $7200 hit and run!
