Whoosh Induction Hose & California Smog

Hi all,

I need to pass smog soon. I've flashed back to the stock tune already. However, I have the Whoosh induction hose which I believe technically could cause me to fail the visual inspection. It is black and looks pretty stock except the Whoosh logo. I can't seem to remove the logo.

Has anyone passed with an aftermarket induction hose? Perhaps I can use black paint to cover the logos?

If you're using a Cobb tune the stage 1 and 2 tunes are CARB legal, so it shouldn't give you any problems. I had a Stage 1 tune on my car when I bought it, and it cleared smog just fine. If they give you problems with the hose you could always swap back to stock, smog, then swap the hose back on.
