Hello everyone, I live in CO and we got our first snow and cold-ish weather. I have been having issues with my driver side window it rolls half way up and then it stops where it then automatically rolls back down by itself (sometimes, other times it just stays put even though I’m pressing the window switch up) . It only happens during cold weather when there’s ice or snow. I tried doing the window reset but that hasn’t helped. I couldn’t find anything else anywhere describing this issue.

Window failures eventually become common with most cars it seems. Doesn't yet seem common with these though..
Over time they get slow, then slower until eventually the little motors are overwhelmed with too much resistance; burning the motor's commutator and/or brushes. The more resistance, the faster they fail.
One or two times a year, I hit the window seals and tracks with silicon spray.
Regular maintenance greatly extends the life of the little motors.
It's something I tend to do while using the same stuff with the door and trunk seals. (keeps them from freezing shut in the Winter)
