Wondering how accurate this is. What does everyone think?

I own a 2016 FiST with 50k miles, so I hate seeing mine on the list.

That article is about all Fiestas, not just the ST. You can tell that because the primary reason it gives for avoiding those years is the automatic transmission, which was total junk.

There is no real functional difference between the 2016 through 2019 models, which are the generally more desirable ones because they did not have the cooling problem and recall of the 2014-15 models and they also came with Sync 3. The suspension was also changed and most think for the better in the 2016 model.
