So, perhaps there are still some people around who can answer this question (because I don't have a clue). [thumb]

I've seen a lot of people in the U.K. and other places outside the U.S. running XXR 527s in a 17 x 8.25 configuration (like the pic I've attached with this post). Sweet jeezum, I love that concave "look". Has anyone tried to do this on a lowered car here and how much of a pain in the @ss is it to roll fenders to make this doable without rubbing? I'm going to run 215/40-17 Dunlop Direzza DII (star specs) which is my favorite street tire choice. I have Cobb spec Eibach springs.

If there is NO WAY this will work, I guess I could "settle" on some 17 x 7.5s as pictured below on a black FiST.... I know for a fact that will work but I'm really just craving that concave look....

Even the 7.5s have some 'concaveness' to them.

What is the ET on the 8.25s?

Was just going to say that. The 17x7.5's and they have a slight concave still. If you're after as much concave as possible then get the wider ones, just might have to do some finessing to make them work right like you stated (don't know what would all be involved, sorry).

I think they are +35s.

I bought a set of 17x7.5 XXR 527s in flat black AND a set of 17x8 Rota Titans in hyper black. Most likely I will go with the Titans...
