I just installed the new Rear Floor Brace from Pierce Motorsports.
This item should be available later next week as soon as they return from powder coating.
The install is extremely simple.

First remove everything from your cargo area except what is in the spare well.

Next remove the torx head bolts from the two outboard rear seat brackets.

Then put the new brace in place and reinstall the two torx head bolts.

Now you will need to trim the two plastic bracket covers.
I chose to use a small drum sander that was very cheep from Harbor Freight Tools.
You could use a utility knife but the sander is easier.

You should start on the bottom about 1 inch in from the forward edge of the cover.

Replace the two covers and you are done.

You will also see a couple of other new items very soon I am sure you will like.
We will be prototyping these next week.

Does this affect the cargo floor from fitting at the higher position?
NOT AT ALL!

It also does not affect the false floor in the lower position as the false floor actually rests on the full size spare tire.

It does affect the false floor placement if you choose not to use a full size spare (as I have done) or remove the spare altogether.
I will address this in my build thread very soon.

Cool. Very similar to TB's trunk brace. I'll be posting a review of that either later tonight or tomorrow.

Yes, the bracing from these two companies are very similar and designed to do similar things.
However as with anything, for the consumer, it is good to have choices.

Just this last weekend we went out on a canyon run and it is unbelievable how stable this car is now.

additional there is something new planned for later this week.

Oh please be rear camber related..
Well it is rear related.

Just putting the finishing touches on a new anti-sway bar.
This one will not only work correctly but is also very easy to install (about 15 minutes).
It will be available in three different tension settings so you can have one for the street and another more aggressive for the track.

Dave - any time frame on that from Pierce?
That of course is completely up to them.
I will be going there on Monday and will let them know of the added interest.
I know they need to be built and then powder coated so that will take a couple of weeks.

BTW, The rear flood strut brace is available now.

I'm in no rush. I had a 2 point awhile back but sold it because I thought I was going to sell the car. Ended up keeping it so I'm starting over. Was going to order up a 2 point now, but will wait depending on this piece. Let me know what Jim says.

I just got my rear floor brace last night. Install tonight. I have the upper front strut brace and the 6 pt lower chassis brace. I don't know if i'll be getting the rear anti-sway bar, as I like the way the rear rotates on a turn right now. Maybe i'll pick up the midship brace.

Dave, let me know if the anti-sway bar on the street setting is an improvement, when you get yours installed. Thanks.

Everyone than has added rear anti-sway bars has noticed improvements.
It is difficult to say what your reaction will be.

I am currently testing the new Peirce bar and I like it.

I found it in my trunk but you can email them.
I am sure that they have just not updated the site yet.
