I'm not that knowledgable, just have a lot of experience with modded lighting. A good friend of mine has been retrofitting for more than a decade, pretty much every car guy I know has been retrofitted, lots of custom work and hundreds of hours of conversations and research for projects. We have done a lot of testing of bulbs/ballasts/projectors using Lux meters in fairly controlled settings. Finally a good friend of ours owns a body shop so we have had the opportunity to compare oem vs aftermarket headlights both for stock and modded purposes...

i was thinking along the same lines...
but i might end up being lazy and just painting the inserts black and adding Demon Eye leds to the projectors

Thanks for the input on these over the DIY I am doing, looks like I need to finish the project sometime:)

It would very cool if the DEPO units at least came apart easier than the stock ones as that is the biggest hassle doing the job, buy some DEPO lights, upgrade the projectors....:)

I have been looking into LED Hi/Low bulbs, I good ballasts and bulbs for HID but would love to save the weight, heat, etc and get LED, please let me know if any around.

Thanks!
Rick

Wow that's a killer price point. I'm very interested to see how this pans out for those wanting a more economical option then the oem euro lights some of us already have.

I'll keep my oem euro lights though.
