One would think that running them all together would benefit you in shallow snow/ice conditions, but who knows? [dunno]

I know that most will tell you to switch of ALL TC nannies in DEEP snow, since at times you need that excessive wheel spin in order to get out of stuck in snow bank type scenarios, or even to move forward at all straight ahead in the deep white stuff.
(The Cobb TC might help a little here as the timing retard it uses might be just enough interference to keep you from destroying your tires from the excessive spinning.)
The one time I had both on at the same time, it was very aggressive. I broke the tires loose on a 1-2 shift and it damn near brought the car to a halt. I don't think running both together is good for any conditions.

wheelspin slows you down. controlling it makes you faster. but I agree about having redundant systems. idk if I would shut off esc every single time I got in the car

Now for something completely different..

Is launch control activated the same way on the stratified tune as it was on the OTS Cobb software? I could go outside and try, but the laziness is real this evening.

Answered my own question. Hold clutch, floor gas, giggle.

^^^When was this firmware update released, and would it have already been installed on AP V3s bought within the last two months?? [dunno]
When you connect your Accessport to your PC it will look for latest version and update.

wow that is stupid loud on your setup lol, i thought mine was bad with just a CB hahaha
Haha yeah, that's my wife driving so she didn't make it pop as much as it usually does. The pops can go for a few seconds and attract heaps of unwanted attention as well!

Does yours sound a lot different? You got any vids?
the amount of pops and when they hit are the same but mine is no where near as loud, I have stock turbo, stock dp, and just a map 2.5 CB and i thought mine were too loud lol, he has a hybrid turbo, O/R pipe and 3" CB lol, probably one of the loudest combos possible. And no sorry I dont have any Vids, I am actually not running my strat flash tune anymore either, the pops where too much for me. I have since switched to a full custom tune through DHM with less pops are crackles, it only pops when I want it to now (downshifting or after going WOT) instead of anytime i lift off the gas.

Have anyone also played with the new firmware update for the AP3? You can switch maps on the fly now on the device itself, plus there is a menu for the Cobb TC where you can choose a value for the Cobb TC modifier. Not sure if that's set by the tune and not actually able to be changed, I didn't try, but you can at least look at that now, pretty cool.
This is on the Stratified website:

COBB Traction Control: CAN BE ENABLED/DISABLED VIA THE MENU OF THE ACCESSPORT IF PURCHASED. The guys and gals at COBB have implemented an ignition retard traction control system. The OEM traction control works based on applying the brakes and closing the throttle. The COBB system works by reducing output via ignition timing reduction when wheel slip is detected. It is a slick system and it works all the time while enabled on a tune. More about it here.

So I think, yes you can change its value from the AP

I just did this last night, I turned mine off (value=0).

Now whether or not you can turn it off on a tune that doesn't include it...I'm not sure.

Damn, I wouldn't drive that through any rough neighborhoods. You might get people returning fire.
Lmao, I would doubt it but I live in Safe and free Canada. But I have had people jump up out of a bus stop bench or duck behind a tree. Haha am such an asshole:)

Yes, with the new AP FW and with the traction control enabled you can toggle it on and off.

Working on giving the traction control even more granular functionality :).
