Hey I don't want my ST hit just as much as the next guy :) Seems like a lot of people come WAY to close recently.
I know what you mean I just got rear ended. It wasn't hard but hard enough to bend my bumper out of aliagment. I have a gap between my bumper and lights almost big enough to fit my finger in there.

Just 2 T20 bolts to open it up. In another members pictures there were several inches of slack so the wire could be pulled out and worked on. Unfortunately for me it was only about 1 inch which made it very difficult to wire up everything, but I made it work.

I ended up soldering mine because I only was able to get access to about 1cm of each side of the wire. I didn't want to take a chance so I cut it, stripped the wires, soldered them together, and put wire nuts on.

I'm looking into the plugs, it's not as easy as you would think but I should be able to find a compatible one. If anyone has a spare rear light I could have for moulding/comparison purposes that might help.

I cant find the thread but there was that wrecked Fiesta st in SD i think that we could salvage it from probably. And maybe any one that went full track/race spec. Search isnt working for me. If we can find it i wouldn't mind fronting some money to mock up some clips
